We’ve shared good times and bad, ups and downs that are sad
I’m here and you’re there, but still so many things we’ve shared
I tell you this and you tell me that, we’re moving forward, let’s not look back
I feel that connection with you, seeing no reason to ever feel blue
We relate to goals, dreams, and ambitions, I think together we can set out on a life mission
But where do we begin, we’ve only just met
I know, let’s take it from here and see where we end up
We’re so much alike and yet so different, this is coming after no time spent
I have an idea, let’s move forward and see what the future brings
We’ve all met that new new before, but in the end they end up as just a bore
Not worth my time or attention, but this time something’s telling me different
We’ve found something to build on, so let’s create under God’s sun
We have a lot to look forward to, so I’ll be me and you’ll be you
Not sure where we’re going , but let’s stay connected, ring or no ring!
